TERRACOTTA TOWER KIT
Terracotta tower kit is for new sprout lovers who are seeking a fun start to home-grown organic sprouts in the ktchen. In the starter kit you will receive a 4-layer Terracotta tower, two bags of organic sprout seed and a 96-page sprout book in English. The two bags of organic sprouting seeds contain 7-20 gram depending on the seed variety. One bag fit one tray and will give you one handful crisp sprouts.

You can grow 10 different sprouting seed varieties in this container. The key is the size of the seed as small seeds like broccoli, kale and alfalfa get stuck in the small holes in the trays preventing the water from flowing out, when you rinse the trays.
Instead, choose the larger seeds for your terracotta tower: Fenugreek – China rose radish – Rose radish – Red Lentil – Green Lentil – Mung Bean – Chickpeas – Pea.
If you are looking to find a sprouter for all 22 varieties of sprouts – including the small broccoli, Alfalga and clover – you can choose an EasySproutSprouter or the new SpirePerle sprouter.
The terracotta tower is 18 cm wide x 26 cm high. It weighs a total of 3,5 kg. Each tray in the GEO Sprout tower gives you up to 3 handfuls of sprouts.
Important A terracotta tower is a very beautiful, rustic sprout container. But in addition to the small holes in the bottom of the seed trays, this sprouter has – in my opinion – another difficult side: It dries out easily and sprouts can not tolerate the lack of humidity. Therefore, if you have a hot kitchen, you need to rinse the trays thoroughly so that they are soaked 3 times a day or put a clean, wet towel of cotton or linen over the entire tower. You can also place the whole tower on a large plate of water. The evaporating water will keep the tower – and the sprouts – moist.
Terracotta Tower BY GEO is a robust spouter. The trays have thick sides and bottoms made of burned clay. This makes the container heavy but also sturdy. It can withstand small bumps but not to be dropped on the floor. If you drop a part on the floor, you can find loose parts here in the shop >
If you would instead prefer a ‘shockproof’ spouter, I can recommend an EasySproutSprouter or the new SpirePerle / SproutPearl.
Terracotta tower kit sprouter is 100% natural no-dye clay. This may mean that there are smaller color differences in each tray and from one tray to the other. However, all the trays are the beautiful terracotta color you see at the pictures.
HAND MADE SPROUTER
Terracotta tower kit sprouter is handmade in Italy. This means that there are charming little skews in the hills. Do not worry if the bias means that you get more oxygen into your germs when the hills are set / turned to ‘closed’. Oats are good for your sprouts.
ONE, TWO, THREE TRAYS
Terracotta tower kit is delivered with a complete container with three trays, a bottom and a lid. You can grow in all trays at the same time or take out the unused slopes so that the tower becomes small and compact.
SPROUT BOOK IN ENGLISH
There is a 96-page sprout book in English in the package. The book is written by Miriam Sommer – owner of FRISKE SPIRER / FRESH SPROUTS. The book gives you all the necessary knowledge to cultivate any type of sprouts year round. The book is divided into short sections. This makes it easy to read despite a high academic level. The book also has a sprout overview and 14 green, healthy recipes for your sprouts.
MORE SPROUTING SEEDS
Terracotta tower kit comes with 2 bags of organic sprout seed, which is measured to fit the trays of your GEO Terracotta sprout tower. I choose the bags based on what else you put in your basket. Feel free to write if you want a specific sprout seed in the package.
